Webinar Archive: Open Access and the Humanities: Making Peer-Reviewed Scholarship Available to All

Description: In this talk, Dr. Martin Paul Eve, author of Open Access and the Humanities: Contexts, Controversies and the Future (Cambridge University Press, 2014), will set out the ways in which the digital environment is changing the dissemination of scholarship. Covering the social, economic and technological challenges to open dissemination of research work, the talk will also feature an explanation of the economic model behind the Open Library of Humanities, supported by the GALILEO consortium.

The Open Library of Humanities (OLH) is a gold open access, peer-reviewed, internationally-supported, academic-led, not-for-profit, mega-journal, multi-journal and books platform for the humanities.
